Meeting Guard

Meeting Guard Support

Meeting Guard turns your calendar into real alarms, so the meetings that matter are harder to miss. An alarm rings a few minutes before each meeting, even when your phone is on silent or in a Focus mode.

Getting started

  1. Open Meeting Guard and allow calendar access and alarm access when asked.
  2. Go to the Calendars tab and turn on the calendars you want covered.
  3. That is all. Your meetings show up on the Home and Events screens, and an alarm rings before each one.

To try it right away, open Settings, tap "Test alarm in 2 minutes," and an alarm will ring in two minutes.

Why isn't my event here?

Meeting Guard reads the calendars that are on your iPhone, the same ones you see in the Apple Calendar app. If a meeting does not appear, it is almost always because that meeting is not in your iPhone's calendar yet.

This happens most often with work accounts. If you use Outlook or another app for an Exchange or Microsoft 365 account, your meetings may live only inside that app. Meeting Guard cannot see them until the account is added to your iPhone's calendar.

To fix it, open the iOS Settings app, go to Calendar, then Accounts, and make sure your work or email account is listed there with Calendars turned on. Once the meeting appears in the Apple Calendar app, Meeting Guard can cover it.

Meeting Guard reads your calendar on your device and never sends it anywhere. That privacy is also the reason it only sees what is on your phone.

Privacy

Your calendar never leaves your phone. There is no account, no sign-up, no ads, and no tracking. You can read the full privacy policy here.
