A calendar notification
- It is silent.
- It stacks up with everything else.
- It does nothing when your phone is on silent or in a Focus mode.
Meeting Guard for iPhone
Meeting Guard turns the meetings in your iPhone calendar into real alarms, so the meetings that matter are harder to miss. Each alarm rings a few minutes before your meeting, even when your phone is on silent or in a Focus mode.
A look inside
The core idea
A normal calendar notification is easy to miss. It is silent, it stacks up with everything else, and it does nothing when your phone is on silent or in a Focus mode.
Meeting Guard takes a different approach. It schedules a real alarm a few minutes before each meeting, using the alarm system built into iOS 26. The alarm rings like your morning wake-up alarm and breaks through silent mode and Focus. That is what makes your meetings far harder to miss than a notification.
Stronger, not unstoppable. Meeting Guard gives you a real alarm, not a promise.
Features
It reads the meetings already on your iPhone and sets a real alarm before each one.
The alarm rings even when your phone is silenced or in a Focus mode. This is the core of what makes it different from a notification.
Choose how early each alarm fires, from the start time up to thirty minutes before.
Set a different lead time for each calendar.
Pick a window, such as overnight, where nothing rings.
Silence a noisy meeting, or a whole recurring series, with a single swipe.
Meetings you have declined, marked as free, or that run all day are skipped automatically, and the app shows you why each one was skipped.
See your next covered meeting and when its alarm will fire, with a last synced indicator so you know where you stand at a glance.
Recurring meetings, time-zone changes, and last-minute edits are handled for you.
You decide which calendars Meeting Guard covers.
Privacy
Meeting Guard has no servers of its own and makes no network requests at all. There is no account and no sign-up. There are no ads and no in-app purchases, and the app is free. It collects no data, and it does not track or analyze how you use it.
The privacy and the behavior are the same fact. Meeting Guard only sees the calendar on your phone because it never talks to any server.
Works with your iPhone calendars
Meeting Guard reads the native iOS calendar, the same one you see in the Apple Calendar app. It covers iCloud, Google, Exchange, and work accounts, as long as that account is added in iOS Settings, under Calendar and Accounts.
If a meeting lives only inside a separate app, such as Outlook on a work account that has not been added to iOS Calendar, Meeting Guard cannot see it yet. Add that account to your iPhone calendar and Meeting Guard can cover its meetings too. This is a direct result of the privacy-first design, since the app only reads what is already on your phone.
